We are seeking an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a 9-month contract in Portsmouth.
The role will involve working on a mix of new-build housing and refurbishment projects, where you will play a vital role in the commercial success of the works.
Key Responsibilities:
* Procurement and subcontractor package management
* Tendering and tender analysis
* Cost validation and cost control
* Estimating and budgeting
* Management and agreement of final accounts
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
* Experience in residential new build and refurbishment projects preferred
* Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple work streams
Contract Details:
* Rate: £330 – £375 per day (depending on experience)
* Duration:
Approximately 9 months
* Location:
Portsmouth
* Start:
Immediate / by agreement
