Nursery Room Leader - Penbridge School

About The Role

Come and join our Brand New Nursery. We are seeking to appoint an experienced Room Leader to manage our Brand New Little Thinkers Nursery setting at Penbridge School.

As a Room Leader you will play a crucial role in promoting high standards within our nursery, supporting staff in their daily duties, providing guidance and mentorship to foster professional growth. You will ensure the effective implementation of the Nursery Keyperson Procedures and allocate children to key workers appropriately, whilst adhering to the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage for practice and provision.

Our Room Leaders will:

• Hold a Level 3 NVQ or above in Childcare & Education.
• Have experience as a Room Leader or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
• Be solidly knowledgeable of the EYFS.
• Possess impeccable interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with parents/carers and provide relevant feedback about children’s progress.
• Foster open, positive working relationships with all staff members.
• Actively promote the Nursery to current parents and potential customers.
• Be committed to safeguarding all children in the nursery and your direct care.
