Job Title
Procurement Manager – 12‑month fixed term contract, full time, 37 hours per week. Office based in Portsmouth. Attendance required in the office two days per week, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

- Lead procurement activity across all categories, acting as the subject matter expert and delivering a partnering approach to advise and guide on market trends, procurement strategy, tendering, contract award, implementation and management.
- Ensure supplier assurance processes manage risk and drive efficiency.
- Lead above‑threshold regulated procurement activity, ensuring full compliance with the Procurement Act 2023 and the revised procurement legislation introduced through the Procurement Bill.
- Maintain the contracts register and oversee its accuracy and up‑to‑date status by the team.
- Experience running above‑threshold regulated tenders within the public sector.
- Strong knowledge of procurement legislation and demonstrable subject matter expertise.
- Proven experience in category management delivering organisation‑wide projects using e‑tendering systems, specifically Intend and Pro Contract.
- Proven ability to produce clear accurate reports.
- Driving licence with a car available for business use.
Two‑stage interview process. First interviews scheduled for WC 9 February (subject to change).
