Location: Portsmouth / Field based
Salary: Open DOE uncapped commission
Holidays: 31 days inc bank holidays

My client is a well-established creative production agency with manufacturing at its core. They produce everything from large-format printed boards, banners, and signs to exhibition stands and a wide range of visual marketing materials and POS.

The company is entering a major growth phase and is looking to hire a Business Development Manager to upscale their modular exhibitions division. Predominantly based in the field, with frequent office visits, we are looking for someone experienced and knowledgeable to join the team.

• New business development within events and exhibitions industry
• Managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to close
• Working across a variety of sectors (including defence, hospitality, corporate)
• Target opportunities beyond the obvious venues
• UK and European projects
• Work with internal estimating, logistics, and design teams to deliver projects smoothly

• Proven experience selling exhibitions (modular experience essential)
• Existing network within the exhibitions industry
• Understands where to find opportunities and has a strong network
• Commercially minded with confidence selling premium solutions
• Comfortable working autonomously in a growing SME
• Sector background flexible — network and credibility matter most
