About the Role

We are looking for a confident and capable Accountant with solid experience working within an accountancy practice environment. You will manage a varied portfolio of clients, delivering high‑quality accounting, tax and advisory services while building strong, long‑lasting relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing and submitting year‑end accounts, tax returns, and related compliance for a range of clients.
Providing clear tax, compliance and business performance advice while managing ongoing client communication.
Supporting onboarding processes and ensuring smooth integration of new clients into the practice.
Completing or reviewing bookkeeping, VAT, CIS and maintaining accurate records while liaising with HMRC when required.
Contributing to team development through mentoring and maintaining your own CPD and professional growth.

About You

Fully qualified or part‑qualified with a recognised accounting body (ACCA, CIMA)
Minimum of 1 years' experience within an accountancy practice
Confident preparing accounts and tax returns to review stage
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly
Highly organised, able to manage deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
