The USS department is looking for full-time Perform mechanical design, development, and documentation of components, sub-assemblies, and major end items for defense system equipment in accordance with system requirements.
** Qualifications You Must Have*
* * Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Ocean Engineering
* This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).

Experience with CAD modeling software

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
** Qualifications We Prefer
** Demonstrated ability to solve difficult problems while working as part of a team Experience in the specification, design, development, production and testing of undersea systems and electronics packaging. Knowledge of design for long term submergence, sealing, and corrosion resistance.

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience on DoD programs.

Experience with PTC CREO and PDM.
