Principal Engineering Cross Product Team Lead – Onsite Portsmouth, RI
Raytheon invites applications for the Principal Engineering Cross Product Team Lead role based in Portsmouth, RI. This position focuses on Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) for naval undersea and surface programs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a cross‑disciplinary team of life cycle engineers.
- Drive LCE activities to meet budget and schedule targets, resolving issues proactively.
- Ensure all product life‑cycle phases meet defined requirements and sustainment objectives.
- Plan and execute sustainment roadmaps, integrating sustainment through design, production and fielding.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality, other functions, and Program Management.
- Prepare proposal inputs for relevant scope.
- Generate and present reports and briefings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Travel domestically up to 15%.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Reliability, Maintainability, System Safety, Integrated Product Support and/or Sustainment.
- U.S. citizenship and current Secret security clearance.
- Prior experience executing sustainment/product support on DoD naval programs.
- Proficiency with cost, schedule and program management tools (e.g., EVMS, EAC).
- Strong communication, interpersonal and customer‑relationship skills.
- Experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Comprehensive planning skills with technical and financial analysis.
- Competitive salary range: 107,500–204,500 USD.
