About Lovewell Veterinary Services Lovewell Veterinary Services is a small animal and exotic (companion animal) general practice committed to providing compassionate, collaborative, high-quality veterinary care for our patients and their families. We care for dogs, cats, and a variety of exotic pets in a team-oriented veterinary hospital setting. We are a technician-forward practice and place veterinary technician well-being, growth, and sustainability at the center of how we operate.
Our goal is to create meaningful, long-term career paths for Certified Veterinary Technicians, Licensed Veterinary Technicians, Registered Veterinary Technicians, and veterinary nurses, not just “jobs.” Our appointment schedule uses 30–45 minute appointment blocks with built-in breathing room, which means technicians have time for thorough patient care, anesthesia monitoring, dentistry support, client education, and teamwork with our veterinarian. We foster a collaborative environment that encourages learning, professional development, and the use of advanced clinical skills, while also respecting work–life balance.

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), or equivalent to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate is:
- Passionate about animal health and welfare
- Skilled or eager to grow in anesthesia monitoring, surgery support, dentistry, and diagnostic procedures
- Excited to expand their technical skills in small animal and exotic pet medicine
- Eager to provide exceptional client communication and patient care
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented, technician-forward environment
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, dentistry, and medical procedures
- Perform diagnostic testing, including bloodwork, in-house laboratory testing, radiology (x-rays), and urinalysis
- Place IV catheters and perform venipuncture (phlebotomy) as part of daily patient care
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
- Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery during surgical and dental procedures
- Provide gentle, low-stress handling and high-quality nursing care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets
- Educate and support pet owners on home care, nutrition, medications, and preventive health
- Maintain accurate, detailed electronic medical records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards
- Help support a positive, collaborative, and respectful veterinary team culture
- Current certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, or LVT).
- Strong technical skills, including phlebotomy, anesthesia monitoring, and general patient nursing care
- Experience with or interest in small animal and exotic pet medicine
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients and team members
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience in a veterinary setting is preferred; motivated new graduates are welcome to apply and will be supported in their growth
