We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will provide the best possible cardiac perioperative care to each patient based upon their individual needs. This Level 2 hospital is known for delivering high‑quality patient care in the beautiful Seacoast of New Hampshire.
Responsibilities- Completes pre‑operative assessments and interprets data to formalize an individual plan of care for surgical patients. Evaluates the patient’s plan of care to ensure positive outcomes.
- Demonstrates competency in circulating cases as it relates to unit scope of care, including planning and efficiently providing equipment and supplies based upon physician/patient needs.
- Administers medications and solutions in the OR, including monitoring the physiological status of patients receiving IV conscious sedation during surgery.
- Provides a safe environment for the surgical patient during their perioperative experience.
- Promotes cost containment while delivering quality patient care within the operating room.
- Participates in department on‑call assignments and demonstrates flexibility to cover staffing as needed.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in NH or valid Compact State License.
- BLS (American Heart Association BLS Provider or American Red Cross BLS) within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS (American Heart Association ACLS Provider or American Red Cross ACLS) within 60 days of hire.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred but not required.
- Minimum one year experience required as a CVOR RN.
