Position Summary: The Marketing Manager, Events is responsible for developing, managing, and executing hosted brand events such as Camp Legion, Chalk, and other immersive experiences that strengthen the SIG SAUER brand and grow customer engagement. They lead event planning, logistics, and onsite execution to ensure every activation delivers a premium, on-brand experience aligned with company objectives. Serving as a key liaison across departments and external vendors, the Marketing Manager, Events ensures seamless operations, budget oversight, and consistent delivery of high-impact experiences that showcase SIG SAUER’s products, culture, and community.
This position requires 5-7 years of events and hospitality experience and 2 years of leadership experience. The Marketing Manager, Events collaborates with Compliance, Product Management, Brand Management, Program Management, Sales, and Marketing.

Job Duties and Responsibilities- Partner with Director, Experiential Marketing and internal stakeholders to define goals, strategies, and creative direction for hosted brand experiences. Continuously refine event formats to maximize customer impact, brand visibility, and operational efficiency.
- Lead the design and development of brand-driven events (e.g., Camp Legion, Chalk, etc.) to deliver immersive customer and community experiences. Organize pre-planning meetings, staff assignments, product allocations, accommodations, evening activities, and hospitality elements. Manage onsite execution including setup, customer flow, product demos, brand activations, and experiences. Travel to hosted events to oversee logistics, staff, and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Product Management, Brand Management, Program Management, Sales, and Marketing to ensure operational requirements and brand objectives are met.
- Source, negotiate, and manage agreements with hotels, caterers, rental companies, and other vendors to ensure cost efficiency and service quality. Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners to support long-term brand event success.
- Collect guest and staff feedback to evaluate event success and identify opportunities for improvement. Provide post-event reports and recommendations, implementing best practices to enhance future brand activations.
- Oversee event budgets, including purchase orders, invoices, and expense tracking. Monitor and control costs to ensure alignment with allocated budgets while maintaining premium brand standards.
- Manage and implement event frameworks, SOPs, and templates to ensure consistency and efficiency across the hosted events program.
- Travel frequently to support hosted events, trade shows, and cross-site activations. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required during event periods.
- Listen to the needs of employees, ensuring that all employees within the team have the tools or resources necessary to be successful.
- Develop the workgroup as a team, fostering a team environment of problem-solving and continuous improvement.
