Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Conduct procedural tests on production product including incoming material needed to support customer need date
- Understand and use all test equipment, test fixtures, and procedures
- Maintain security for all quality verification equipment and its calibration control
- Notify errors on procedures, drawings, bills of material, and router to the support teams (Quality, Manufacturing Engineering)
- Complete documentation (shop packs, quality test reports) accurately and timely
- Enter data into the ERP system accurately and timely
- Maintain high quality standards and workmanship
- Maintain excellent communication and working relationship with all departments within the company
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Communicate special tooling needs to perform operations that may not have been identified
- Oral/Written Communication – Listens and gets clarification;
Responds well to questions;
Records data
- High School Diploma or equivalent / Minimum of 2 Years’ experience in manufacturing environment
- Ability to apply common sense in performing job
- Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to use basic high school math skills
- Two-year technician degree or equivalent
- Experience/training with basic electricity
- Experience handling fiber optic related product
Skills And Abilities
- Ability to use test equipment needed to perform tasks (Meggers, Ohm-meters)
- Ability to use optical test equipment
- Computer literate; working knowledge of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work with little or no notice of overtime when needed
- Able to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, specifications and procedures
- ERP Overview

- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
- Daily computer usage
- Repetitive motions
- Production Floor Environment
- Safety Glasses required at all times
- Steel Tip Safety Shoes
