We are seeking a Director, North America Operations to lead our warehousing, distribution, and repair operations across the United States and Canada. Based in our Portsmouth, New Hampshire Operations Center, this hands‑on, strategic role ensures reliable delivery of life‑extending therapies to patients while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
This position requires a leader who can balance strategy with execution. The Director will serve as both a people developer and a supply chain expert, creating alignment across teams, guiding daily operations, and shaping the long‑term direction of North American operations.
Responsibilities- Lead Novocure’s North American warehouse and distribution operations to ensure uninterrupted patient deliveries.
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans aligned with global supply chain priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement and Lean initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Build, coach, and inspire a collaborative operations team across the United States and Canada.
- Represent the North America operations function in regional and global discussions, influencing decisions that impact performance and reliability.
- Manage budgets, performance metrics, and supplier relationships to sustain growth and operational excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- Seven to ten years of experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics leadership roles.
- Experience in medical technology, pharmaceuticals, or other highly regulated industries preferred.
- Proven experience leading diverse teams and driving results in complex, fast‑paced environments.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills combined with hands‑on leadership.
- Demonstrated success in continuous improvement initiatives;
Lean or Green Belt certification is a plus. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
Presence at the Portsmouth Operations Center at least three days per week is required.
