The Per Diem Lab Courier is responsible for the timely pickup, transfer, and delivery of medical specimens and records between laboratories, practice offices, and clinics.

Pay and Hours

Pay range is $20 – $22 per hour.

Schedule

Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with potential additional days as needed for coverage.

Hours

After 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Essential Functions

To perform effectively in this role, the candidate must fulfill the following duties with or without reasonable accommodations:

  • Operate a company vehicle during the shift across various roads and weather conditions.
  • Safely transport laboratory specimens, medical records, pharmacy items, interoffice mail, and other related materials in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Exhibit safe and courteous driving practices.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, ensuring positive interactions with patients, vendors, employees, and the public.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure the company vehicle remains clean, organized, and well-maintained.
  • Demonstrate consistent and reliable attendance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year in a customer service role.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
