Ultrasound Technologist – Portsmouth Regional Hospital, NH

We are looking for an Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. This role focuses on providing high-quality sonographic examinations, collecting patient data, and ensuring accurate imaging for diagnostic purposes.

Job Summary

As an Ultrasound Technologist you will prepare patients, collect relevant information, perform sonographic exams following defined protocols, observe patients’ conditions, and notify physicians of any unusual occurrences.

  • Compile appropriate records to expedite results.
  • Analyze the quality of images and processes as required.
  • Complete data sheets containing pertinent patient information after each exam prior to forwarding to radiologist.
  • Take calls after regular hours to meet department needs.
Qualifications
  • Two to three years’ experience (preferred) as Radiologic Technologist or Sonographer, including two-plus years of experience in a hospital.
  • ARDMS or ARRT registered.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
