The Speech Therapist provides high‑quality, patient‑centered care by developing and conducting individualized therapy programs for patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing impairments.

• Conduct subjective assessments of patients’ speech language abilities during spontaneous conversation.
• Administer objective tests to assess communication assets and liabilities.
• Structure and implement individualized patient programs to improve communication abilities.
• Evaluate patients regularly during treatment and adjust programs to maximize progress.
• Document progress in patient chart – complete notes, charges, discharge notes, and patient communications.
• Consult with Program Director & Rehab Physician regarding pre‑screen assessments to determine appropriate placement.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP).
• Bachelor’s degree.
