We are seeking a full-time Senior Structural Engineer for an on-site position in our Portsmouth, NH, office. The Senior Structural Engineer will manage and lead the design, analysis, and review of various structural projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. Responsibilities include preparing detailed structural calculations, creating construction documentation, overseeing project timelines, and collaborating with clients and multi-disciplinary teams. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers and conducting site inspections to assess project progress and structural integrity.
Qualifications- Proficiency in structural analysis, design software, and engineering principles such as AutoCAD, Revit, and finite element modeling.
- Strong knowledge of engineering design codes and standards such as IBC, ASCE 7, and material-specific codes (e.g., AISC, ACI).
- Experience in project management, including scheduling, team collaboration, and client communication.
- Technical acumen in construction administration, including preparing reports, reviewing shop drawings, and conducting on-site inspections.
- Strong problem-solving skills, professional communication abilities, and attention to detail.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required
- 10+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building design preferred.
