This role will involve extensive travel to various manufacturing sites to optimize supply chain processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough analysis of existing supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize production lines and materials handling practices.
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in supply chain operations.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Facilitate training and workshops for staff on best practices in supply chain management.
- Travel to various manufacturing sites to assess operations and implement improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Consultant or in a similar role within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, materials handling, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Willingness to travel 100% of the time.
