Overview
Join our team as an Assistant Superintendent and play a crucial role in the maintenance and management of our golf course. In this position, you will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent in overseeing the day-to-day operations to ensure the course meets the highest standards of quality and playability. As an Assistant Superintendent, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including turfgrass management, irrigation system maintenance, pest and disease control, and staff supervision.
You will have the opportunity to contribute your expertise to the overall strategic planning for the course and participate in special projects to enhance its aesthetics and playability.
We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about turfgrass management and has a deep understanding of agronomy. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in golf course maintenance, a keen eye for detail, and strong leadership skills. A degree in turf management, agronomy, horticulture, or a related field is preferred. The Assistant Superintendent must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and collaborate effectively with the grounds crew and other staff members.
