Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time on‑site role for a Computer Technician, based in Portland, TX. The Computer Technician will be responsible for providing technical support, conducting computer maintenance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing computer repairs, and working with operating systems to ensure optimal performance. The position involves hands‑on problem solving and assisting users with technology‑related challenges to maintain a high standard of reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Technical Support and Troubleshooting to address both hardware and software issues effectively
- Experience in Computer Maintenance, ensuring the optimal functioning of systems and preventing technical issues
- Strong skills in Computer Repair and Operating Systems knowledge to diagnose and resolve hardware and software malfunctions
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively assist and engage with users
- Ability to work on‑site and remotely in the Corpus Christi, TX area
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or similar are a plus
- Associate's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
