Construction Technician - Laborer

We are currently seeking Construction Technicians / Laborers with valid CDL licenses
. The Construction Technician is responsible for the installation of CIPP for various municipal, industrial, storm and sewer line rehab and repair projects. This position must be capable of working with minimal oversight while still following instructions closely.

We are offering a limited‑time sign‑on bonus of $4,000 for new hires with a valid CDL license, and sign‑on bonuses for new hires without a current CDL license are also available at a reduced amount. Eligible employees will be paid the full bonus as outlined in our bonus program.

The starting hourly pay is $22.00–$30.00 per hour depending on experience and CDL license held.

• Repair various types of sewer lines by using specific UV CIPP products and processes
• Ensure the pull‑in tube is properly prepared for installation by examining D‑Rings, chains, and attaching to the pulling cable
• Install prepared tube using a winch, backhoe, crane, or other appropriate equipment
• Monitor gauges, dials, heat sensors, or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly
• Cure resin product using an inflation tube, calibration can’s, UV light trains, and associated equipment
• Learn and train on Insituform’s products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques, and equipment
• Drive various vehicles (pickup trucks to tractor‑trailer rigs) to haul crews and equipment
• Perform set up and clean up tasks at the job site or shop

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience as a construction laborer and/or installation technician highly preferred
• OSHA certifications are a plus
• Valid driver’s license required with a clean motor vehicle report
• Must possess, or obtain within 90 days of hire, a CDL with required endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brakes), compliant with Insituform’s motor vehicle standards
• Must be able to wear a respirator and body harness while entering confined spaces
• Ability to lift or move up to 75 pounds and use pneumatic, battery‑powered, or electric tools
• Comfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
• Must be able to travel weekly, potentially out of state
