The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, safety culture, quality standards, and operational performance of Tilray’s west coast beer & beverage warehouse in Portland. This role oversees all warehousing and distribution activities, including inbound and outbound logistics, inventory accuracy, repack operations, staffing, and cross‑functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities- Lead through our company values:
Creativity, Respect, Accountability, Fun & Teamwork (CRAFT) - Lead all day‑to‑day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, staging, and shipping of finished goods and materials.
- Ensure accurate inventory management, including cycle counts, reconciliations, FIFO rotation, and investigation of variances.
- Oversee dock operations, trailer scheduling, and coordination of inbound and outbound freight.
- Maintain accuracy of loads, pick sheets, shipping documentation, and system transactions.
- Coordinate product movement to and from off‑site storage locations as required.
- Provide overall leadership and accountability for the on‑site repack can line, including safety, inventory control, and operational performance.
- Lead hourly warehouse staff, including Warehouse Leads, the Repack Lead, Dock Coordinator and Inventory Coordinator.
- Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and corrective action in accordance with company policies and applicable labor requirements.
- Oversee warehouse operations across two shifts, ensuring consistent standards, communication, and execution.
- Champion a strong safety‑first culture, promoting safe behaviors, accountability, and proactive identification of risks across warehouse and repack operations.
- Ensure warehouse and repack activities consistently meet quality standards, including proper handling, storage, rotation, and protection of finished goods.
- Serve as the primary Portland Warehouse point of contact with Tilray breweries, internal logistics teams, and external freight partners, ensuring alignment on schedules, priorities, and constraints.
- Drive effective communication and coordination to support reliable freight movement, minimize disruptions, and maintain operational continuity.
- Become expert in ERP system which is currently Orchestrated BEER with a plan to transition to new ERP in the coming years
- 3–5 years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience in a manufacturing or CPG environment, with at least 2 years of people management or supervisory experience.
- Working knowledge of inventory control, dock operations, and material handling processes, including the ability to apply basic math for inventory counts, reconciliations, and shipment documentation.
- Strong communication/leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills, with proficiency in inventory systems and standard business software.
- Schedule flexibility to support operational needs.
