Responsibilities- Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock.
- Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock.
- Scanning items into the warehouse management system.
- Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages.
- Organizing the warehouse space.
- Preparing orders for shipment.
- Picking orders for shipment.
- Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments.
- Operating stock management tools such as powered industrial equipment and pallet jacks.
- Counting stock and keeping inventory records.
- Routine cleaning duties.
- Interface with management to ensure key objectives are realized.
- Maintaining safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
- Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
- Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10–50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100 lbs.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb ladders and/or stairs, or balance.
- May be subject to environmental conditions; protection from weather conditions provided but not necessarily from temperature changes.
- May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Must work well with other staff members and supervisors.
- Must have open, flexible availability and be willing to work various shifts, overtime, and occasional evenings or weekends.
- 1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
- Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse.
- Maintain and promote workplace safety.
