Transport Driver at Primo Brands summary:

Primo Brands is hiring a CDL Class A Transport Driver to safely operate tractor-trailers delivering branded beverages to retail outlets, with responsibilities including vehicle inspections, DOT compliance, load securement, inventory tracking, and forklift operation. The role requires a minimum of two years OTR tractor/trailer experience, ability to lift up to 66 lbs, proficiency with handheld devices, and meeting FMCSA driver qualifications;

tanker, manual transmission, and forklift experience are preferred. Position is weekday M–F with shift start between 1–3 PM, pays $29/hour plus shift differential, and includes comprehensive benefits and paid time off.

Compensation: $29.00 per hour

Shift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate paid for applicable hours worked

Shift: M-F Start time between 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate transport vehicle.
  • Ensuring vehicle meets all Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and company standards.
  • Understanding of load and freight weight requirements.
  • Operate forklift to unload and reload trailer with company products.
  • Complete all required company and DOT required documents and reports.
  • Maintain cleanliness of company vehicle.
  • Ability to manage and track inventory.
  • Protect company assets by securing product loads before and during transport.
  • Complete comprehensive vehicle inspections.
Qualifications:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Minimum two years’ experience driving tractor/trailers OTR.
  • Ability to use a handheld device and application systems.
  • Valid CDL Class A license (T & N Endorsements may be required)
  • Must be able to meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration driver qualifications including pre-trip and post-trip requirements.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 66 pounds.
  • Repetitive motion when loading and securing products in trailer.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer/data entry skills and basic math skills proficiency.
  • Ability to drive tractor/trailer in all weather conditions.
  • Manual Transmission experience preferred
  • Tanker driving experience preferred

Candidates must possess strong English language skills to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional service. Proficiency in English is essential for understanding customer needs, resolving inquiries, and collaborating with team members.
