Fleet Agent - Part Time; PDX

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cabin Cleaning Agent to join our ground operations team at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). In this role, you will perform functions necessary to provide a comfortable passenger experience and help turn aircraft on time, with an emphasis on safety and service.

• Perform fleet services and other servicing (e.g., cabin and overnight cleaning, lavatory, water)
• Maintain work areas and ensure proper care of equipment
• Perform facility cleaning and janitorial services
• Work outdoors with exposure to the elements and high noise levels for eight hours or more per work day

• Must demonstrate safe work habits at all times
• Ability to work at a constant and quick pace for up to two consecutive hours
• Flexibility to work varied shifts; weekends and holidays
• Reliable and good attendance and punctuality
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to get along with others
• Ability to perform work according to set procedures
• Ability to anticipate needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to understand and interpret flight schedules and airline flight destination information
• Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance including background criminal history check, drug screen and fingerprinting required by specific work assignment
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to give/receive oral instructions in English

• Working a constant and quick pace for up to two consecutive hours
• Able to work varied shifts; weekends and holidays
• Obtaining and maintaining an airport security clearance, customs seal, and/or USPS security clearance including background criminal history check, drug screen, and fingerprinting required
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to get along with others
• Understanding and ability to utilize electronic tools to interpret flight schedules and airline flight destination information
• Ability to give/receive oral instructions in English
• Lifting up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license and one of the following documents to be qualified for this position:
  • Original or certified copy of a birth certificate
  • Unexpired US Passport
  • Permanent Resident Card
  • Unexpired US Territory Passport and I-94

• This position requires significant physical agility and mobility. Must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy items; work in cramped or high places; climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop for extended periods; carry heavy items up and down stairs; push/pull loaded and empty carts; and stand for extended periods.

Union Information:
This position is part of a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Work schedules are awarded based on seniority. New hires are assigned shifts based on operational need. The company cannot guarantee certain days off.

Pay: $21.05/hr
