Pacific Channel Transportation is seeking a Full-Time NIGHT SHIFT CDL (Class

A) Driver. As a Bench Driver, you will report in daily and fill in for any call-outs. When not needed on a route that night, you will assist with loading and unloading freight. This role involves timely pickup, labeling, and delivery of shipments within a 150-mile radius of Portland.

• Work NIGHT SHIFT.
• Routes depart between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM, start time depends on the route.
• Touch freight and load/unload heavy items up to 70 lbs.
• Operate a pallet jack.
• Provide exceptional customer contact and driving skills.
• Interact with customers, warehouse leaders and associates, and store leaders.
• Systematically update orders via a handheld device.
• Drive a CDL vehicle – 53' Tractor Trailer or 26' Box Truck.
• Communicate delivery updates to customers.
• Load the truck efficiently for unloading and confirm customer orders.
• Enter/exit the delivery cab to complete deliveries throughout the day.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

• Requires periods of continuous physical exertion (walking, standing, bending, climbing, lifting up to 70 lbs).
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Valid, active Class A Driver's License.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background.
• Must pass DOT physical, criminal check, and drug screen.
• Strong teamwork and customer service skills; able to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, responsible, highly organized, and able to multitask with a positive attitude.
