Material Handling Agent

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

$22.00 per hour

The Material Handling Agent is responsible for processing, verifying, and shipping materials while maintaining inventory accuracy using warehouse management software. Key duties include loading and unloading freight, conducting cycle counts, labeling shipments, and ensuring compliance with safety and reporting procedures.

• Process all aspects of materials using warehouse inventory software
• Label and ship orders according to established procedures for each customer
• Accurately pick and weigh all shipments
• Inspect freight and follow appropriate reporting procedures
• Assist with inventory and cycle counts
• Rotate and re‑stock shelves according to inventory procedures
• Verify all inbound and outbound materials
• Provide prompt and accurate customer service
• Arrange and maintain filing and recording systems
• Document monthly activities for period‑end reporting
• Safely load and unload trailers by utilizing equipment such as hand trucks/pallet jacks and forklifts
• Shrink‑wrap freight pallets
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of general warehouse knowledge
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Warehouse Oracle Database Experience is a plus
• Must be able to lift/move up to fifty (50) pounds frequently
• Forklift certification preferred
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and managers
