Sr. Software Engineer

Portland, OR

We are looking for a motivated and highly skilled software team member that will be responsible for working with a cross‑disciplinary team of engineers developing and maturing our rapidly growing family of counter‑drone technologies. This role will be involved with designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software for counter UAS systems. You will work with individual and networked systems, designing and maintaining software that enables advanced capabilities.

This role will work in a software development and manufacturing environment where projects are realized with the highest degree of commitment to quality and efficiency.

• 5+ years’ experience developing software
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Adaptable, eager to learn, and create, with a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement
• Ability to work in a small team to rapidly prototype and develop new products
• C/C++ and Python proficiency
• Experience with Jira, and Git Lab or Git Hub

• Experience developing with microcontrollers
• Experience with serial data protocols
• Experience with embedded debuggers like JTAG
• Experience with CI/CD tools
• Ability to develop using application containers such as Docker

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field.
