cPacket is building the next generation of intelligent network observability. As part of this vision, we are developing a new AI/ML-powered platform designed to deliver network observability insights, answering the 4 W (What, When, Where and Why) for network anomalies across complex network environments.

We’re seeking a Senior Manager of AI/ML Engineering to lead the cPacket AI engineering team through all phases of product development — from proof-of-value to production deployment, and operational scaling. In this leadership role, you will lead a team of incredibly talented data scientists, software engineers, and architects, and you will work with the latest AI and software technology.

• This is a technical leadership role that requires strong technical depth in AI/ML systems, software, data pipelines, distributed architectures, excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, and the ability to move fast in the face of ambiguity.
• Lead a multi-functional team encompassing data scientists, SW engineers, UI developers, data pipeline engineers and Kubernetes experts.
• Work on cutting-edge AI, ML and MCP applications deployed in large-scale networking environments.
• Be a key driver of an innovative new product line with company-level impact.
• Collaborate with a world-class team across engineering, product, and customer success.

• Build, manage, and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team including data scientists, data architects, software engineers, UI developers, MLOps engineers
• Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of the entire solution including internally developed models and LLM interfaces.
• Design and build the operational capabilities to deploy and operate the solution
• Work with the product team to refine and clarify the product requirements
• Engage directly with large enterprise customers to drive POV / MVP deployments, capture learnings and feedback
• Lead the team to productization and operation post-MVP
• Make high-impact, high-judgment decisions on technical direction, model evaluation, system readiness, architecture, performance, and scalability.
• Contribute to the technical vision and the long-term roadmap of AI-based products at cPacket
• Set and communicate your team’s goals and establish plans and schedules to attain them. Turn ambiguous product requirements into actionable plans and designs.
• Fully own and manage all technical and non-technical aspects of product development and delivery for your engineering teams
• Foster a collaborative and fast-paced development environment.

• You have 15 years of overall software engineering experience, working on production code, with at least 7 years of hands-on technical leadership and people management experience
