About You:
We’re an East-Coast-based fintech company looking for Golang Software Engineer with 4+ years of experience in backend development. The ideal candidate is an individual who has a passion for building solutions of different complexity, solving various problems, staying ahead of the curve with continued learning, and enjoys exploring new modern technologies. We expect you’ll be proactive in product evolution, technical solutions and process improvement.
The position is mostly remote but we prefer the candidates to be located in Portland, OR or Las Vegas, NV.
What you’ll help us to do:- Deliver high-quality code to production and work with the operations team to prepare and execute releases.
- Develop challenging projects from scratch and support current ones.
- Effectively collaborate with the team to provide the best solutions.
- Participation in grooming and planning sessions.
- Understand the business needs and influence the product.
- 2+ years of experience with Golang.
- Experience of integration with external APIs — REST, Graph
QL, Webhooks. - Experience with API authentication — Oauth, JWT, Headers, Cookies.
- Experience with the Gin framework.
- Yaml configuration files.
- Good knowledge of any SQL/No
SQL DBMS (Postgre
SQL, Redis, Elasticsearch are preferable). - Understanding of OOP and design patterns.
- Eagerness to explore and learn new programming languages, tools, and applications
- Be sharp, driven and entrepreneurial
- Experience building microservices and designing microservice infrastructure is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of CI/CD systems:
