FLSA status: Non exempt/Hourly

Salary: $20.90/hr - $23.06/hr

Job Summary

The Case Aide works closely with the Case Management team to facilitate completion of all ORR requirements for case management of youth in care. This includes contact with sponsors regarding family reunification packet completion, records requests, internal case file audits, involvement in medical services, data entry, meetings with clients, organizing casefiles, filing, and scheduling fingerprint appointments.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Works closely with the case management department providing clerical responsibilities including data entry, completing reports, tracking, filing, and form completion.
  • Client and sponsor interviews to fill out ORR required documentation for digital fingerprints.
  • Duties necessary for department completion of case management functions under the supervision of the Case Management Supervisor.
  • If located at the Paso program, must become certified to complete digital fingerprinting for sponsors and is the key position responsible for this duty.
  • Assists Administrative Coordinator with duties such as database entry and case file requests.
  • May transport clients on flights for reunification or transfer to other programs.
  • Participates in team meetings, staff in‑service training, and department meetings.
  • Completes timely and accurate timesheets and other personnel/administrative records as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to developing a thorough knowledge and application of the Sanctuary model and other organizational policies & practices.
  • Participates in staff development, in‑services, and training related to workplace effectiveness; models professional behaviors and implements improvements to business practices with awareness of their impact in a trauma‑informed behavioral health organization.

Required Position Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalency.
  • Bi‑lingual in Spanish and English, written, read, and verbal. Must clear a language test for Spanish.
  • Attained age 21 years or older before first day of employment in position (ORR).
Preferred Position Qualifications
  • 2 years consecutive office experience.
  • ORR experience.
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and agency regulations.
  • Knowledge of adolescent developmental issues, trauma, abuse and neglect, substance abuse and dependence, delinquency, peer influence, and related group and individual interventions.
Other Requirements
  • Able to work shift hours and days, as assigned. Position may require work outside of usual work hours on occasion.
  • May escort youth by airplane.
  • Pass a criminal history background check through Morrison and a suitability determination investigation through the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. For further information…
