About This RoleWe are seeking a couple of skilled HVAC Installers. This position will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing ductwork systems for industrial and commercial HVAC systems.
What You’ll Do- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine duct system layouts.
- Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal to fit specific installations.
- Install ductwork systems, including heating and air conditioning ducts, vents, and related equipment.
- Inspect and repair existing ductwork for leaks or damage, replacing sections as needed.
- Ensure proper insulation of duct systems to maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with other HVAC professionals and construction teams.
- Maintain safe work practices and adhere to industry safety standards.
- High school degree or GED equivalent.
- Proven experience as a ductwork installer.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- For entry-level applicants, some prior experience in a manual labor job is required.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to commute to locations along the Wasatch Front.
- Must undergo pre-employment and random drug screenings in compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
