Mechanic Trailer Maintenance

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
• Inspect equipment, troubleshoot, diagnose problems and perform necessary repairs to ensure safe operation of the equipment.
• Maintain and repair general building infrastructure including pallet racking, overhead doors, HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and electrical equipment.
• Work independently and manage time effectively to maximize output, or work with other team members to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and work rules; complete work orders and change job assignments as needed.
• Full‑time work, overtime may be required; may work day or night shift.

• Five years of experience in heavy equipment and diesel engines preferred.
• Valid DOT physical card and driver’s license required for road‑side repairs.
• Certification in the use of refrigerants and recycling equipment may be required.
• Basic computer skills required; ability to work with diagnostic equipment and on‑board computers.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, stand, walk, and use ladders and elevated platforms safely.
