FT/PT Status: Full Time
Shift: Day Shift (6am- 3pm)
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Hourly Rate: $26.00 - $32.00 (DOE – Depending on Experience)

United Salad Co. one of the largest family-owned distributors of fresh produce, grocery, and food service products in the Pacific Northwest, is seeking a motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. We service and maintain a fleet of over 200 vehicles, distributing produce to national and independent grocers, restaurants, schools, and other institutions from local farmers and growers worldwide.

• Diagnose and repair Class A trucks and refrigerated trailers.
• Maintain and service all equipment to Federal DOT standards.
• Inspect and replace worn brake components. Experience with steering and suspension systems is desirable.
• Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, power tools, pneumatic wrenches, and jacks.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, and equipment lubrication.
• Keep detailed documentation of all service and repairs performed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be 18+ years of age
• Must be able to speak, write, and read in English fluently
• Must provide own hand tools adequate for job functions
• Valid driver’s license required
• Minimum one year of truck and/or trailer repair experience
• Unrestricted ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, squat, lift (up to 75 lbs.), push, pull, climb, and lie on back in a horizontal position for prolonged periods

Position is contingent upon a successful background check, an acceptable motor vehicle record check, and the ability to pass a drug screen, including THC.
