LME Maintenance Mechanic-Swing Shift

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an LME Maintenance Mechanic role in Portland. • Maintain and repair warehouse and distribution center equipment, including conveyor systems and related machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Conduct electrical work as required under a valid Oregon LME (Limited Maintenance Electrician) license.
• Follow established safety procedures, including hazard communication, chemical usage, lockout/tagout, and emergency protocols.
• Use a variety of hand and powered tools to perform repairs, adjustments, and installations.
• Accurately document maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair logs.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to address equipment issues and ensure efficient workflow.
• Perform other related duties as assigned, supporting a safe and productive warehouse environment.

• 5–7 years of experience maintaining warehouse equipment required.
• Must hold a valid Oregon LME (Limited Maintenance Electrician) License
  .
• Good working knowledge of hazard communication, chemical handling, MSDS, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Intermediate computer skills and ability to document work accurately.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, sit and stand for extended periods, regularly lift/carry up to 40+ lbs, and move freely throughout the facility.
• Strong aptitude for mechanics and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and make sound decisions within established guidelines.

• Monday–Friday, 1:50 PM–10:20 PM, with periodic overtime as required. Weekend work may occasionally be required.
• Work performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and noise.
