Security Officer - Part-Time Patrol Route

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.;
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter routes, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency services as needed.;
Control access points by monitoring doors, gates, and/or restricted areas, verifying authorization, and directing people to appropriate locations.;
Complete shift activity logs and incident reports, monitor alarms and/or surveillance systems when assigned, and escalate maintenance or security-related concerns through the chain of command.
