Response Armed Security Supervisor
Location: Downtown Portland, Oregon
Shift: Varies (Full-time)
Compensation: $31.50 / hour
Public Safety/Flex Armed Supervisor – Now Hiring for Portland Clean & Safe. Garda World is the largest privately owned security services company in the world and is looking for experienced leaders to support the Portland Police Bureau through daily operations, training, and incident response.
Responsibilities- Lead and assign day-to-day responsibilities to the team.
- Schedule shifts, prepare performance reports, and maintain training logs.
- Conduct crew and program evaluations and manage disciplinary actions.
- Serve as the uniformed and radio-equipped point of contact with the Portland Police Bureau Clean & Safe Officers.
- Provide armed visual security services to maintain a safe environment.
- Attempt to stop criminal conduct and street disorder.
- Report criminal activities, ensuring compliance with Oregon State law and DPSST requirements.
- Engage in problem‑solving and community policing strategies as requested by the Police Bureau.
- Maintain a daily log and file incident reports.
- Use radio communication effectively with Shift Supervisors, Police officers, and other public agencies.
- Commit to advanced training in de‑escalation, mental‑health crisis response, trauma‑informed care, and social‑service referrals.
- High school education or equivalent (GED).
- Extensive screening process – must successfully pass.
- Background in Military or Law Enforcement experience, or a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice, Political Science, or Security Administration.
- Active Armed Security License.
- Valid state driver’s license with a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Report).
- Minimum age 21 years or older.
- Daily Pay – access pay on day ONE of work.
