Security Officer (full time, night shift position) at Providence Portland Medical Center

Receives general direction from the Security Manager, Supervisor or Lead Security Officer, performs a variety of security protective duties to protect patients, visitors, staff, physicians, property and facilities from accidents, bodily harm, fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry. Enforces PH&S, facility and security policies and regulations.

• Oregon Private Security Armed/Unarmed Professional - Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training upon hire or,
• Oregon Private Security Unarmed Professional - Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training upon hire.
• Private Security Temporary Work Permit PS-20 upon hire.
• Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.
• 1 year - Experience using personal computer with standard Microsoft applications.

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• 1 year - Security/law enforcement experience such as corrections, police, reserve and military police.
• Direct patient care experience in a healthcare industry.
