International Protective Service, Inc., an Allied Universal® Company, is hiring an Armed Security Officer. The role involves the safety and security of the facilities you protect. Our Officers act as a visible deterrent to crime, detect and report suspicious acts, and protect the property, clients, guests and employees at the site.

• Pay: $35.00 per hour

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license if required to operate a vehicle
• Prior security or related protective service experience
• Minimum age 21 (or higher if required by state)
• Excellent communication skills; able to articulate and write clear incident reports
• Ability to complete all required range qualifications and functions
• Clean MVR and Drivers License
• Concealed handgun license

• Associate’s degree or higher in Criminal Justice or related field
• Law enforcement experience
• Military experience
• Three or more years as an armed security professional

• Provide high‑quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to protect people, assets, and sensitive information
• Enforce rules, regulations, and directives to maintain order
• Maintain proficiency in all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices, and weapons
• Greet guests and employees, escort visitors and contractors, and secure ingress and egress points
• Follow site‑specific performance manuals, post orders, and report safety concerns or breaches via written and verbal communication
• Respond to and assess security alarms; act as a first responder and provide first aid as necessary
