Regional Sales Manager

Highly respected large wine supplier investing in growth and adding a Regional Sales Manager role responsible for delivering sales results in OR, , MT. Demonstrated experience in distributor management, pricing/planning, hands-on market development and collaborative, solution-oriented entrepreneurial spirit required, preferably from a larger wine/spirits supplier. Portland metro area.

• Own the sales planning and execution for OR, , MT
• Execute sales strategy, pricing, and key initiatives for on/off sales channels
• Support and collaborate with national accounts and regional accounts sales teams
• Build relationships with distributor management from top down, providing reporting, insights and solutions to help them achieve sales goals
• Introduce creative sales execution concepts and aspire to be a leader in best practices.
• Assist in developing and implementing annual operating plan including financial, volume, and distribution objectives.
• Manage assigned budgets including incentives, samples, demos and tastings, travel and entertainment and other departmental expenses.
• Coach and inspire sales reps in the distributor and work with them as a player/coach
• In-market once/twice/week and overnight travel ~once/mo.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 5+ years of field sales experience with a supplier or distributor (wine/spirits preferred)
• Experience building/developing pricing and programming solutions and owning distributor management responsibilities at a state or multi-state level preferred
• Retailer lead-selling experience is a plus.
• Intermediate wine knowledge or associated certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of Nielsen, Excel, Power point, Teams, and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
