Location: Portland and Statewide (Travel Required)

Compensation: $75,000–$85,000 base + commission (DOE)

NOW CFO is looking for a dynamic Outside Sales Account Executive to join our growing team. This is a high-impact role focused on driving new business through strategic partnerships and relationship-based selling. You ll be the face of NOW CFO in your market, building lasting connections with key Centers of Influence (COIs) such as CPA firms, banks, and private equity groups, while engaging directly with executive-level decision-makers.

What You’ll Do
  • Establish and grow referral relationships with CPAs, bankers, PE firms, and other COIs.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic networking and outreach.
  • Regularly attend industry events, conferences, and local business groups to expand your professional network and build brand visibility.
  • Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing deals with executive stakeholders.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with C-suite leaders to understand their business needs and propose tailored financial consulting solutions.
  • Partner with internal teams to onboard clients, support service delivery, and explore expansion opportunities.
  • Maintain a consistent schedule of 20–25 meetings per week, including events and client engagements.
  • Keep detailed and accurate records of all sales activity in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
  • Travel regularly throughout the state to meet with clients and partners face-to-face.
What You Bring
  • Proven success in an outside sales, business development, or account executive role.
  • Strong track record of B2B networking and lead generation.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working with or selling to finance, accounting, or professional services industries (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to build trust quickly and maintain relationships over time.
  • Organized, driven, and able to manage your own schedule effectively.
  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
