Commercial Select Account Manager

J.D. Fulwiler & Company is seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Manager to support our Community (Select) Business Unit
, servicing small commercial accounts under $10,000 in premium. This role is responsible for delivering high‑quality customer service, managing day‑to‑day account activity, and supporting new business growth while maintaining compliance with agency standards and carrier requirements.

This position works independently with assigned accounts and plays a key role in account servicing, renewal processing, cross‑selling, and carrier communication.

• Manage and service assigned select commercial accounts from new business through renewal
• Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, certificates, binders, and
• Handle all client and carrier communication via phone, email, and written correspondence
• Accurately document all activity in the agency management system
• Bind insurance coverages and ensure accuracy of placement
• Coordinate audits, billing issues, account reconciliation, and policy delivery

• Assist with writing new business opportunities within the select commercial segment
• Work with the Commercial Lines Manager to meet assigned production goals
• Prepare proposals, applications, premium breakdowns, and marketing submissions
• Work efficiently with carrier service centers and underwriters
• Provide timely and accurate information to carriers and claims personnel

• Identify coverage gaps and cross‑sell opportunities
• Support quoting, binding, and application processes in accordance with agency procedures
