What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Own a quota and manage the full sales cycle from first contact through activation across various industries
  • Design and execute a personalized pipeline strategy while collaborating with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs)
  • Conduct high-quality discovery sessions with founders and finance teams to identify their financial management challenges
  • Link customer pain points to Mercury’s products and provide clear, compelling narratives for decision-making
  • Provide structured feedback from market interactions to improve sales processes and product offerings
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • At least one year of closing experience in an Account Executive role or equivalent full-cycle sales experience
  • Proven ability to build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline and meet or exceed targets in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to various audiences
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Genuine interest in fintech and its impact on business operations and growth
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience selling to founders, owner-operators, or small leadership teams
  • Demonstrated curiosity and strategic thinking in sales approaches
  • History of success in ambiguous environments with changing products and go-to-market strategies
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for conferences or in-person meetings
