Role SummaryAs a Server – Beer and Wine you will be responsible for guiding guests to order food and beverages to enhance the movie‑going experience. This includes greeting guests through engaging interaction, making menu suggestions, having strong menu knowledge, and delivering quick and timely counter service. The Server – Beer and Wine role is a vital link between our guests and the kitchen staff.
You may also cross‑train and work as a Restaurant Worker, Concessionist, Box Office Cashier, or Usher as staffing needs require.
- Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast‑paced environment to enhance the guest experience.
- Accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner.
- Handle all transactions on the assigned register, ensuring proper cash balance, correct ticket distribution, and accurate logging.
- Verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions.
- Ensure that alcohol is consumed only in designated areas.
- Use suggestive selling techniques consistently.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure food orders are accurate.
- Wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high‑contact areas consistently.
- Utilize personal protective equipment while completing position‑specific tasks.
- Adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks.
- Monitor safety and security issues and report to management.
- Perform other work‑related duties as assigned.
- Proof of age (18 or 21 depending on state).
- Completion of basic food handling training and any required local or state certification.
- Completion of a Safe Alcohol Service training program.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Regular and consistent attendance.
- Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
- Excellent guest service.
- Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including effective communication in English.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to take and follow direction.
