SUMMARY The Service/Floor Manager is an integral part of the Hospitality Team. Responsible for service standards, training staff, product knowledge, and neighborhood. This position is responsible for providing support, training, and fostering a positive learning environment for the Front of House employees. This position reports to the FOH Manager.
* This is a salaried Full-time position that requires working evenings, weekends and holidays when needed based on business demand.
* ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* FOH Operations, managing day to day store operations
* Responsible for producing and updating training guides for supports positions and beverage departments
* Establish and maintain operational checklists for support positions and bar staff (opening, closing, deep cleaning)
* Listens to FOH and BOH staff feedback and enacts changes when necessary to maximize efficiency
* Small wares Inventory, Ordering and Updating
* Training and Guest Experience are the main responsibilities of this role
* Works with the COO on beverage creation, menu content and guidelines for local and franchise beverage programs
* Helps to maintain accurate and up to date beverage pars and order guides
* Assists FOH Manager with scheduling, payroll and back-office operations
* Some travel may be requested to assist with Franchise openings
* Responsible for service standards, training staff, product knowledge, and creating a positive learning environment for employees while achieving labor budget and forecasted sales goals.
* Ensures service standards are educated and maintained for all FOH staff. Supports the staff by mentoring improvements and personal growth.
* Focuses on guest satisfaction and prioritizes addressing/resolving any issues guests may have.
* Ensures that high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout the entire restaurant areas at all times.
* Offers feedback to BOH on food presentation, food quality, portioning, and communicates all guest feedback about food to BOH management.
* Responsible for closing the restaurant: ensuring all doors are locked, alarms are set, and that the FOH completed their side work to standards set in place.
* Prepares necessary data for applicable parts of the budget; daily labor updates, labor forecasting, sales reports to help assure that financial goals are met.
* Attends management meetings
* Assists and coaches staff during service to ensure guest satisfaction, maximum efficiency and daily improvements.
* Evaluates drink and food products to assure that quality standards are consistently attained.
* Provides training and professional development opportunities for FOH staff.

* Ability to produce a high volume of work in a timely manner, which is accurate, complete, and of high quality.
