Day Shift – 3x12 Hours
Time:
07:00 AM – 07:00 PM
Weekend Requirement:
One weekend per month (Saturday 06:00 – Monday 06:00 standby)
On-Call:
Required for cardiac emergencies
Floating:
Possible based on department needs

Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 patient care in the cardiovascular operating room
Perform duties as both scrub nurse and circulator during cardiac procedures
Assist surgeons during cardiac and vascular surgeries
Monitor and manage cardiac patient status during surgery
Prepare and maintain sterile surgical instruments and equipment
Administer blood products and medications as required
Ensure compliance with surgical safety protocols and universal time-out procedures
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
Cardiovascular Procedures Experience Candidates should have experience assisting with procedures such as:
Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
Mitral Valve Replacement
MAZE Procedure
Aortic Aneurysm Repair
Femoral Cannulation
Pericardial Window
Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
Ventricular Assist Devices (LVAD/RVAD)
