Position Type: Travel Contract

• Shift: Day Shift – 3x12 Hours

• Time: 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM

• Weekend Requirement: One weekend per month (Saturday 06:00 – Monday 06:00 standby)

• On-Call: Required for cardiac emergencies

• Floating: Possible based on department needs

• Shift: Day Shift – 3x12 Hours

• Time: 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM

• Weekend Requirement: One weekend per month (Saturday 06:00 – Monday 06:00 standby)

• On-Call: Required for cardiac emergencies

• Floating: Possible based on department needs

• Provide 1:1 patient care in the cardiovascular operating room

• Perform duties as both scrub nurse and circulator during cardiac procedures

• Assist surgeons during cardiac and vascular surgeries

• Monitor and manage cardiac patient status during surgery

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical instruments and equipment

• Administer blood products and medications as required

• Ensure compliance with surgical safety protocols and universal time-out procedures

• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR

Candidates should have experience assisting with procedures such as:

• Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)

• Mitral Valve Replacement

• MAZE Procedure

• Aortic Aneurysm Repair

• Femoral Cannulation

• Pericardial Window

• Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)

• Ventricular Assist Devices (LVAD/RVAD)
