Assistant RN Manager (ANM) - Medical Surgical Unit at Providence Portland Medical Center. Full‑time day shift position with a flexible Monday‑Friday schedule.

Hiring bonus of $8,000 and relocation assistance for eligible external hires meeting required qualifications.

The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) serves as a professional Registered Nurse reporting to the unit director/manager, utilizing the nursing process to manage clinical and operational activities within the assigned shift. The ANM supports the director/manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating unit services, and provides managerial presence for all shifts. Responsibilities include managing clinical and non‑clinical caregivers, providing input on performance evaluation, ensuring compliance with professional nursing standards, regulatory requirements, policies, processes, and clinical priorities, and coaching, mentoring, and collaborating to deliver quality health care to patients.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BS or BSN). Registered Nurses employed prior to November 1 2024 are encouraged to pursue a BSN degree; obtaining the degree is not a condition of employment.
• Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

• 3 or more years of acute‑care RN work experience.
• Relief Charge or higher level of leadership experience.

Competitive base pay range $59.39–$93.75 per hour with potential for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra‑shift incentives, and bonus opportunities.
