Serenity Hospice is seeking a Hospice Admissions RN for our Portland Metro team.

Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8am to 5pm

• Perform pre‑admission evaluations for the appropriateness of services.
• Initiate the admission process by educating and informing patients/families of our services.
• Obtain informed consent.
• Provide nursing assessment, initial plan of care, and interventions that optimize patient and family‑directed comfort and quality of life.

• Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program.
• Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of practice.
• Must possess current CPR certification.
• One year of hospice experience preferred.
• Must be able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Must be able to deal tactfully with patients, family members, visitors, agency personnel, and the general public.
• Must be knowledgeable of quality assessment and assurance procedures.
