Your Role as a Registered Nurse (RN): As a vital member of our health care team, you’ll provide top-notch patient care within your assigned department or unit. Working closely with clinical managers and other healthcare professionals, you’ll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, always ensuring the highest standards of safety and compassion. This is your chance to take ownership of your patients’ care and make a lasting impact on their health and well-being.
You’ll work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and support staff to create comprehensive care plans and deliver the best outcomes.
- Provide direct, compassionate patient care while adhering to Legacy Health’s high standards for patient assessment, care delivery, and transfer.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, holistic care for every patient.
- Advocate for patients by offering education and emotional support, helping them navigate their health journeys.
- Leverage cutting‑edge electronic health systems to accurately document patient information and provide seamless care.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program as required by licensure. BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) is strongly preferred; we encourage applicants working toward their BSN. For certain roles, a BSN is required; we also consider RNs without a BSN based on clinical experience and with approval from the Chief Nursing Officer.
- Experience: At least one year of nursing experience, or completion of the Legacy Health RN Residency program (or equivalent). Additional clinical experience may be required depending on the department. Previous PACU, emergency or critical care nursing experience preferred. Must meet the 45-minute call requirement.
- Skills & Qualities: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to navigate and utilize electronic health systems; strong critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
