Job Overview

$7,500 hiring bonus for eligible external candidates that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. The Community Care RN provides and supervises professional, independent nursing care for Providence patients. Care is based in the nursing process and is consistent with the Oregon Nurse Practice Act. Applies knowledge of assessing, planning, ordering, giving, delegating, teaching and supervising professional nursing care delivery that promotes patients' optimal health and independence.

All Providence professional nursing practice requires a broad range of general nursing knowledge and expertise.

Providence PACE is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly that strives to keep older adults as healthy as possible living in the community through clinics, home visits and more. Join our team to help empower elders in your community to live active, independent lives.

Required Qualifications
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • 1 year Home health RN experience
Compensation

Pay Rate: $43.87 – $68.11 per hour. Additional compensation may be available such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint. HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses.

Our core competencies include restorative care, longitudinal care and care through the end of life.
